What is a Candlelight Fund?
A Candlelight Fund is a special fund in memory of a loved one who has died.
This can be a private act of remembrance – you can donate to mark special moments like their birthday or anniversary - or invite others to give and share memories too.
There are no targets, deadlines or minimum amounts involved. This is your fund and you can grow it in whatever way feels comfortable.

Just like lighting a candle in church, you can light a candle on our online votive stand to pray for someone who is in your heart. Each candle is accompanied by a small donation towards CAFOD’s lifesaving work.
