Middle East Humanitarian Appeal

Partners in Gaza told us this morning, ‘It is good news. A first step, we have to rejoice about this.’ There needs to be a massive increase in aid now into Gaza with unimpeded access to food, water and healthcare to reverse the spread of famine and malnutrition.

Please help today

Our partners are working in near-impossible conditions — delivering emergency healthcare, hot meals and mental health support — but they cannot meet the need alone.

Please donate now to the Middle East Humanitarian Appeal and help families survive this crisis with food, water, shelter and care.

The conflict has devastated lives

Millions across the Middle East have fled their homes in search of safety. They urgently need shelter, food and basic supplies.

Our partners are helping these families right now as they arrive in safer areas. Your donations will help with:

  • emergency healthcare

  • food packages

  • safe shelter

  • hygiene kits

  • mental health support

  • cash to buy fuel, blankets and other essentials.

On 22 July, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, offered a powerful reflection on the suffering in Gaza:

“Christ is not absent from Gaza. He is there — crucified in the wounded, buried beneath the rubble, and yet present in every act of mercy, every candle in the darkness, every hand extended to the suffering.”

This sacred presence, he emphasised, demands action:

“Humanitarian aid is not only necessary — it is a matter of life and death,” he continued. “To refuse it is not merely a delay, but a sentence. Every hour without food, water, medicine or shelter inflicts profound harm.”
